New Girl in School

Chapter 3: New Friends, New Enemies

After classes, Amy, Blaze and Rouge walked to the cafeteria for lunch. Amy was deep in though during History class.

"I still don't know why I agreed to hang out with them." Amy thought to herself as the three of them walked on. "I mean, they're probably going to be like the other spoilt girls in the school anyway and why I think this year's going to be great. Me and my stupid childhood self..."

Once inside, they made it to the cafeteria where many high school cliques were hanging out; Jocks, hippies, fashionistas, nerds, you name it. Blaze soon spotted an empty table and they sat there.

"I'm so glad to be away from the clique infestation." Amy told Rouge and Blaze as they all took out their lunches from their bags and began their small conversation. "I mean, there's always cliques in high school."

"Well, it is call "high school" Amy." Blaze stated as she ate her grilled cheese sandwich. "There are always cliques in this aspect of school life."

"English please, Blazey." Rouge said, a little annoyed at Blaze using her enhanced vocabulary. "And by that, I mean, talk like you normally do."

"Sorry, I just love to say those big words, what I mean was..."

"...Cliques are forever a high school thing?" Amy quickly finished off Blaze's sentence which left her and Rouge speechless for a moment then Blaze cleared her throat.

"That's right." Blaze said, trying to hide her little shock.

"Thus that means, I might make some new enemies here." Amy said with a bored sigh like she knew that will be coming.

"Sad but true." Blaze said agreeing with her. "You have to at least have one enemy in high school to officially know that you've made it into high school."

"I don't know, maybe I've been watching too much TV to know about this." Amy said as she finished her lunch. But as Amy got up, she accidentally bumped into someone the remains of her lunch fell on the girls uniform. The girl was a brown chipmunk with red hair and sea blue eyes. Her two friends were with her; a honey-brown hedgehog with curly hair and bangs, silvery-purple eyes and a pearl barrette parting her bangs from the right side of her side hair and the next girl was hedgecat with jet black hair and fur with a bright orange streak in it, bright pink eyes and the tips of her ears and tail were dark purple.

"Oh my Chaos! Sally! You alright?!" the hedgehog said worried about the chipmunk and tried to clean her up.

"I'm fine, Mia." the chipmunk, Sally told her friend, then she turned a death glare towards Amy. "Who do you think you are?! You just ruined my uniform!"

"What do you have to say for yourself!?" the hedgecat girl yelled as she looked at the pink hedgehog with scorn in her eyes.

"Sorry. It's just cotton, just wash it out." Amy told her with the calmest tone in her voice as she picked up her trash and dumped it. "It's not like the end of the world or the apocalypse."

Amy just left the cafeteria with the three girls and Blaze and Rouge just staring at her. Blaze and Rouge quickly got up from their table and after Amy.

"Amy did you realized what you just did?" Blaze asked her very worriedly and concerned.

"No, what?"

"You just messed up and told off Sally Acorn." Rouge told her as she walked next to Amy.

"Who the heck is she?"

"She's the most popular girl in school." Blaze told her as they went to their lockers, which were practically next door neighbours. "Her mom's the principle of the school, so she can practically get away with murder and her dad's a huge millionaire that owns a heck tons of businesses in town. She uses her money and high up status to rule everyone until she graduates."

"I can't stand her." Blaze said as she got her books for her next class. "I can't believe that me and Rouge used to be buddies with her."

"You two used to be buddies with her?" Amy asked them, curiously.

"Yeah, until she got so overbearing, bossy and manipulative that we ditched her." Rouge said in disgust, recalling the time she and Blaze spent with her. "Good riddance too, but now she's got Mia and Audrey as her flying monkeys."

"I feel sorry for them, following the drama queen bee." Amy laughed a little a long with Rouge and Blaze.

"Kinda funny that you said that, Amy." Blaze said as the three of them went to their next class, Music. "Sally's ex-boyfriend kinda said the same thing about her."

"He must feel pretty bad dating a girl like her." 

All of them laughed to themselves as the went down the hall but little do they know about the conversation going on in the girl's bathroom...

"Who does that pink brat think she is?" Sally said as she changed out of her messy school blouse and changed into an extra one that Mia had in her bag. "Messing me up in front of the whole school like that!"

"I know right?" Audrey said her arms crossed. "And the way she sassed you, she's obviously a newbie."

"Ooh, eat froyo and mani-pedis?" Mia asked cheerfully and received a facepalm from Audrey and Sally.

"No, you idiot." Audrey scolded her. "We payback..."

"Oooh..." Mia said, getting the picture. "When do we get her back?"

"Don't worry bout the details. I have a plan." Sally said with an evil grin.
