Author's notes- This is for Sonic's Birthday today, written in the wee hours of the morning(I accidentally stayed up all night ) And this has Sonamyness in it, If you hate this couple, don't read it.

*This story takes place after Sonic's 20th birthday party after he and Classic Sonic defeated the Time Eater and Classic Sonic and Classic Tails went back to the past but Amy suddenly disappears, no one knew what happened to her, even Team Chaotix can't find her. Everyone was worried about her, but mostly Sonic, he felt...empty and kinda guilty that she's gone, he spent half a year trying to find her but he never did...and now after searching, he gave up but he still knows she's still alive. Now after a whole year, Sonic became 21 years old of strong built, muscles, he now wears clothes; heaven knows why, a necklace with a small ring, white shirt, dark blue jacket, navy blue pants and he still has his trademark shoes. Everyone came to celebrate the Blue Blur's birthday, but Sonic wasn't to thrilled to celebrate it, his friends asked him what's wrong and he simply said he's fine, the others leaved him and knew that was a bold face lie.*

Sonic: *sigh* I knew my friends mean well but they knew I'm still upset about Amy's sudden disappearance, she left my last birthday party without a trace and not even Espio, Vector and Charmy can't find out where she disappeared. I haven't felt this...well...empty since she vanished...I knew I have to move on but...I have this feeling in my heart that she's still alive...I knew this year, I'm gonna have a bitter 21st birthday...
*Sonic wasn't enjoying the party, Tails(16) persuaded him to dance or dance with someone and Sonic finally gave in. He danced with Sally, but still wasn't happy, Sally was enjoying it however, after the dance Sonic went and get some drinks. He was still depressed, until something caught his attention...A female, mature pink hedgehog came in the party. She has long, flowing pink quills, a red headband, a dark pink choker that matches her lipstick and eye shadow, a top that covers her...chest, a purple jacket, a short purple skirt and long knee-high purple and dark pink boots with white socks. Every guy was staring at her, every girl got jealous and Sonic can't help but stared at her, his face grows hot in a red blush, his tail wags, his heart skipped a beat and...he thinks she looks beautiful but strangely familiar...*
Sonic:*says to self*...Amy?
*The pink hedgehog went to the bar where Sonic was at, she ordered a glass of pink champagne, flipped her hair behind her shoulders and minded her own business. Sonic still can't help wondering if this really is Amy Rose, he knew it's a miracle Amy found out about his birthday party, and...he also thinks she looks beautiful and he's wondering whether to talk to her or not, her drink came and she drank it through a straw. Sonic somehow had the courage to talk to her.*
Sonic: Hi there...
The pink hedgehog/Amy: *looks at him and smirks* Hi there...
Sonic: Hey, name's Sonic and welcome to my birthday party.
The pink hedgehog/Amy: Happy Birthday Sonic...*smiles warmly*
Sonic: Hey...Can I ask you something?
The pink hedgehog/Amy: Sure, ask away...
Sonic: *sigh* Are you...ever in love? With somebody, but they suddenly disappeared?
The pink hedgehog/Amy:...Yeah, I was in love but I ran away form his at the end of his birthday...
Sonic: *knew this hedgehog was Amy* Why did you run from him?
The pink Hedgehog/Amy: *sigh* I ran from him because I realized in the past...a was acting like a flea to a dog or cat...bugging him until I'm removed, so I realized that at his party and I left him, my friends, everyone behind. I though it'll be best for him and everyone, if I left them for awhile to mature and come back to them...
*Sonic felt kinda guilty, now that he knew that why Amy disappeared, he didn't mean to hurt her and make her run off...he felt that feeling again in his heart, he can't figure it out but then he realizes it...his feeling...was love...*
Sonic: Hey and also...what's you name?
Amy: Amy...Amy Rose...
Sonic: Amy...I so sorry I drove you away...
Amy: Sonic...
Sonic: *put his finger on her lips and shushes her* No Amy...I'm the one who should be sorry...If I hadn't treated you like that in the past, you wouldn't have left...
Amy: *touched by his words and smiles* Why do you think I came back? I forgave you after that year and I never forgotten about you...
Sonic: I looked for you everyday after you left...for half a year, I stopped when I realized you weren't in Station Square after you vanished, even Team Chaotix can't find you...
Amy: You...were looking for me?
Sonic: Yes...I knew you were still out there and I always hoped you'll come back home, to us...to me...
Amy: *produces tears of joy* I missed you too and everyone...I knew you and the others will look for me and I left Station Square to act like a lady now I turned 18.
Sonic: And Amy...I wanna promise you something...
Amy: Yeah?
Sonic: *hugs her* I promise I'll never hurt or break your heart, for as long as I live.
Amy: *smiles* Oh Sonic, I...*she was cut of when, in the first time of they know each other, Sonic kissed her on the lips, every party guest saw, even the Sonic Team, but Sonic didn't care. He took in the full taste of her lips and they even Frenched a bit. Then they broke it.*
Amy: Sonic, why...
Sonic: Amy...I love you...*smiles* I always have and I always will...
Amy: *smiles and was surprised that Sonic finally said he lover her* I always loved you too Sonic...
*They both got off their stools, held hands and they kissed again and this time, the whole crowd was cheering, the party was also broadcast around the world, but Sonic and Amy didn't care. All Sonic knew his birthday wish this year came true: That his precious rose came back to him...*
